Wind Phones
Wind phones connect you with a loved one - past or present - and give you the chance to say your words and let the wind carry them away.
The Bournemouth Writing Festival is on a mission to create and place Wind Phones across the area to help everyone get the words out of their head and into the world.
What is a Wind Phone?
Wind phones are disconnected - a chance for you to speak from the heart.
This phone is for everyone and anyone who has lost a loved one - whether in the past or present.
Pick up the phone and dial their number or dial their name.
Share your memories, your news, your love or say things that were left unsaid.
The wind will know exactly where to deliver your messages and nature will heal your soul.
The Bournemouth Writing Festival plans to place these therapy phones across the conurbation - Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and perhaps into the far reaches of Dorset.
You can find a location, pick up the phone and let the wind carry your words to them.
Or you can support the initative.
Your donation or sponosrship allows us to buy, create and install Wind Phones so anyone can pick it up and get something off their chest.
It may bring peace.
It may be the thing someone needs in that very moment.
It may save a life.
All proceeds go to the Bournemouth Writing Festival to continue our work in the community to inspire all writers to write, regardless of their age, background or ability.
